First session
Claim an open plot — Join the official experience and walk to a gate that still shows the claim prompt. A gate another player has claimed should no longer keep the claim text after the 9 October 2026 fix.
Open the experience — The game page is the official place. Servers hold 16 players.
Create the slot — Open Build. Your first three obbies are created by hand and cost no Gems. Another create costs 60 Gems. You can start from a starter template. New slots are named with your name so they are easy to recognize.
Read the economy notes — Cash, Gems, and the dated pass prices.
Place parts and playtest — Enter edit mode, add a spawn and a few platforms, then use the move, resize, and rotate handles. Turn Simple Properties off if a field is missing. Leave edit mode and run the course. The Play/Build button shows a 20 second loading cooldown.

Let someone else play it — Likes help leaderboards and part-limit milestones. Share the Obby ID from the load screen. Featured gates and the 9 Robux sponsored gates are different systems.

An Obby ID identifies a player-made obby, showcase, or cart ride. Open Load Obby, search the ID or the creation name, and load the match. It does not grant Cash, Gems, or parts.
Are there Obby Creator promo codes?
The developer update log does not publish a promo-code list, and no code string was supplied for this game. Do not type your Roblox password into a site that promises codes. If the game later adds a redemption control, it will be inside the official experience.
How do I raise my part limit?
On 21 August 2024 the developer set a 600-part base, plus 100 parts for Whirlpool Studio group members and milestone rewards for likes and playtime. Open the trophy icon beside the Part Limit counter to see your own milestones. Later logs raised the purchasable cap and, on 9 October 2026, granted 100 parts to existing players who rejoin.
What changed in October 2026?
The 9 October 2026 log added six parts, a repeatable 15-minute Advanced Tools trial from a video ad, wider plots, new edit handles, a Sound Search plugin, sponsored gates, and forced first person. Buttons can activate most parts, but not other buttons. A 10 October follow-up changed Donation Parts so they open the donation screen.
Can friends edit the same obby?
The game description says you can build alone or with friends. Shared edit access can change the build, so only add people you trust, and use the numbered revert screen if a change needs to be rolled back.
