Start with the first obby, then Obby IDs, then the part-limit trophy. Use the October 2026 retest if the course already exists. Prices in the Cash guide are dated on purpose.
Which [UPDATE!] Obby Creator guides are published?
Build your first obby
Claim an open gate, create one of your first three free obbies, place parts with the new handles, and playtest before you spend Gems or Robux.
Load and share Obby IDs
Obby IDs open player creations from Load Obby. Featured gates, the removed Recommended row, and the 9 Robux sponsored gates do different jobs.
Raise your part limit
The trophy beside Part Limit shows like and playtime milestones. The 600-part base, the group bonus, and later purchasable-cap raises are separate changes.
Wire buttons and Activate Type
Since 9 October 2026 a button can activate lava, jump, speed, teleport, and other parts, but not another button. Player and push-block activation are now one Activate Type.
Use Advanced Tools and the ad trial
Advanced Tools covers lighting, gravity, music, jump limit, and quiz parts. A repeatable video ad unlocks the pass for 15 minutes, and the visual sun tool can invalidate old sun motion.
Cash, Gems, and dated shop prices
Cash is the edit-mode building currency and Gems pay for extra obby slots. Published prices are dated, and the cash rate was still being tested in January 2026.
Save slots, revert, and private servers
Slots save in the experience, the revert screen has numbered slots, and private-server admin has a plugin for players who cannot chat. There is no documented Studio export.
Retest a course after October 2026
A retest list for courses built before 9 October 2026: new shapes, Activate Type, the 15-minute Advanced Tools trial, wider plots, and the 10 October donation and morph fixes.
Set music, sky, and camera
Clear the music field to restore the default track, place the sun from Lighting, and set camera max zoom below 1 only after you have playtested first person.
Editor settings that are documented
Turn Simple Properties off to see hidden fields, set Selection Box Size, and use Left Alt to flip between Scale and Stretch. Unlisted keyboard tricks are not treated as official.
