The 9 October 2026 post is the largest building change in the current log, with a fix pass on 10 October. Use this checklist on any course you built earlier. The full dated history lives on the updates list.
New parts
Added 9 October 2026:
- Morph Part, which changes a player's appearance when activated.
- Five custom shapes: Flipped Part, Triangle, Quarter Cylinder, Inner Ramp, Outer Ramp. Half Cylinder was already in the add list; the update only asked that related shapes stay grouped.
- Donation Part, with a chosen recipient and amount.
On 10 October, Donation Parts open the donation screen instead of prompting immediately. Morph Parts now activate with push blocks. A ladder gear from the developer's other experience, The Climb, was also added on 9 October.
Plot, handles, and buttons
- Base plot size is 220 (was 180). More Space adds 80 width (was 50).
- Move, resize, and rotate use new handles, with a custom handle color in Settings.
- Buttons activate any part except other buttons.
- Player Activated and Push Block Activated are now Activate Type.
- Existing players should rejoin for 100 free parts.
Systems that will surprise an old tutorial
- Recommended Obbies was removed.
- The first three obbies are free and must be created by hand. Further creates cost 60 Gems.
- Advanced Tools can be trialed for 15 minutes with an ad.
- Music can be set to nothing to restore the default track. The new default named in the post is Argon by Maxybg.
- A volume icon sits in the top bar.
- Server size is 16.
- The Cash panel shows only while editing.
- Two sponsored gates per server cost 9 Robux for one hour on that server.
- Forced first person is available by setting camera max zoom below 1.
- Block limits scale with milestones, up to +88%, and some defaults were lowered.
Retest list
- Any button chain that used to press a second button.
- Any morph fired by a push block.
- Any donation that expected an instant prompt.
- Sun motion built with Advanced Tools parts, if you touch the new sun picker.
- Music that was set by resetting all properties. You can now clear the music field directly.
- Mobile sound IDs. Copying SoundIds on mobile was fixed on 10 October, as was copying ImageIds from Image Search after an earlier Roblox change.
- Clients inside a sponsored obby. Those objects were broken until 10 October.
The 10 October pass also enlarged the plugin screen slightly on mobile, fixed the ladder tool if you pick it up while climbing, and fixed editing an Advanced Tools part inside someone else's obby when that owner has the pass.
